Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern all lawn care services provided by Wilmington Green Lawn Care (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company”) to any customer (“you,” “your,” or “the customer”) whose property is serviced in Wilmington, NC, or the surrounding service area, including Leland, Hampstead, Castle Hayne, Porters Neck, Rocky Point, Ogden, Kure Beach, Carolina Beach, and Wrightsville Beach.
By scheduling, accepting, or paying for any service from Wilmington Green Lawn Care, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. If you have questions about anything below, contact us before your first scheduled visit — we’d rather clarify something up front than have a misunderstanding later.

Scope of Services

Wilmington Green Lawn Care provides residential and commercial lawn maintenance services, which may include mowing, edging, trimming, weed control, fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and seasonal cleanup, depending on the specific service plan agreed to at booking. Not every service is included by default in every plan — your specific scope of service will be confirmed at the time you book.

Service Scheduling

Wilmington Green Lawn Care provides residential and commercial lawn maintenance services, which may include mowing, edging, trimming, weed control, fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and seasonal cleanup, depending on the specific service plan agreed to at booking. Not every service is included by default in every plan — your specific scope of service will be confirmed at the time you book.

Seasonal Adjustments

Service frequency and scope may be adjusted seasonally without requiring a new agreement — for example, mowing frequency typically increases during peak growing season (spring and summer) and decreases during dormant winter months, and treatment types shift by season (spring pre-emergent, fall aeration, and so on) as outlined on our [Our Process] page.

Weather and Rain Delays

Wet lawns are more prone to equipment damage, ruts, and an uneven or clumped cut, so we do not mow saturated turf. When rain or standing water pushes a scheduled visit, we complete the service on the next available dry day, typically within [X] business days of the originally scheduled visit. Extended wet periods, including tropical storms or hurricanes, may result in longer delays, which we will communicate as early as possible.

Property Access Requirements

For each scheduled visit, the following must be true for service to be completed without delay:

  • Gates providing access to the lawn or service areas must be unlocked or accessible via a code or instructions you’ve provided in advance.
  • Pets must be secured away from the areas being serviced, both for the safety of the animal and our crew.
  • Vehicles, trailers, or other obstacles should not be blocking access to the areas being mowed or treated.

If our crew cannot safely or reasonably access your property on a scheduled visit day, the visit may be logged as a missed visit under Section 6 below, and rescheduling will depend on the next available opening in our route.

Property Damage and Liability

We carry general liability insurance and our crews take reasonable care to avoid damaging landscape features, irrigation components, fencing, and outdoor lighting during every visit. That said, we are not responsible for damage to items that are unmarked, hidden, or not disclosed to us in advance — including buried irrigation lines, unmarked sprinkler heads, invisible fencing, or landscape features that are not visible during a routine mow.
If you have fragile, unusual, or hard-to-see features on your property, please flag them to us before your first scheduled visit so our crew can take the necessary precautions.

Reporting Damage

If you believe your property was damaged during a scheduled visit, contact us within 48 hours with a description (and photos, if possible) so we can review the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.

Chemical and Treatment Applications

Where fertilization, weed control, pest control, or other treatment products are applied to your property, we follow the manufacturer’s label instructions and applicable North Carolina pesticide application regulations. If you have fragile, unusual, or hard-to-see features on your property, please flag them to us before your first scheduled visit so our crew can take the necessary precautions.

Re-Entry Guidance

Please keep children and pets off treated areas until the product has dried or the label-specified re-entry period has passed, typically depending on the specific product applied. We will note any specific re-entry guidance at the time of treatment if it differs from our standard practice.

Advance Notice

If you would like advance notice before a treatment application (for example, due to a pet with sensitivities or a scheduled outdoor event), let us know when you set up your service plan and we will accommodate this whenever possible.

Storm, Disaster, and Emergency Conditions

Wilmington’s hurricane season can disrupt scheduled service for reasons outside our control, including unsafe travel conditions, downed trees or debris, flooding, or storm damage to a property that requires cleanup beyond routine maintenance. In these situations, we will communicate delays as early as possible and, where a property requires extensive storm-related cleanup, we will provide a separate quote for that work rather than assuming it falls under a standard recurring maintenance plan.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, policies, or applicable law. The version posted on this page at the time of your service is the version that applies. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
